Frequently Asked Questions (very helpful)
Why is your chair more expensive than other camping chairs?
Because it's built to a completely different standard & solves a few very big problems! Cheap $40 chairs often break after one season, feel uncomfortable to sit in, and are too big, heavy & difficult to carry.
Over 100,000 customers have now switched for all the reasons you'll read on this page, and most buy 2–4 chairs as a long-term investment in comfort and reliability!
Will it actually be comfortable for longer sits?
Yes. Unlike upright, traditional camp chairs that cause back and neck pain, ours has a hammock-style design that cradles your whole body for all-day comfort!
I'm tall/short—will it fit me?
We've tested the Ozzi Gear chair with users ranging from 145cm to 195cm.
-Under 150cm: feels slightly higher but still comfortable
160–195cm: ideal sitting height & back/ neck support
Over 195cm: our Lounger model gives extra shoulder support
Will the chair cut into the backs of my legs?
No. We rounded the front edge and added padding so it doesn’t dig into your thighs - unlike most compact chairs. Customers love that they can sit for hours without pressure or discomfort.
Will it sink in sand, snow, or mud?
Standard feet can sink into soft surfaces. That’s why most customers add our Sand/Snow Mat accessory - it spreads the load and keeps you stable anywhere. (You can add it to your order today and save on shipping.)
Will I feel unstable when I lean or reach?
No. We’ve redesigned the chair 16 times to perfect the seating angle and centre of gravity. The result? A chair that feels solid, with no wobbling or tipping - even when you lean forward or sideways.
I'm older. How do I sit down and get up safely?
When getting up, we recommend placing your hands on the canopy (sides) and using it to help push yourself up. All materials on our chairs are designed to withstand strenuous use/conditions.
How small does it pack down?
It folds to just 35cm - small like your waterbottle!
Fits in 99% of carry-on luggage, van drawers, motorcycle panniers, and even backpacks.
Any loose parts to lose?
None. Unlike other chairs with 5–10 poles, ours is fully all-in-one. Telescopic arms and secured canopy mean nothing to connect, lose, or forget.
What’s the weight capacity?
The chair safely supports up to 150kg. We’ve tested it well beyond that for durability and stability.
What warranty do you offer?
Every chair comes with lifetime warranty. If anything ever goes wrong, we’ll repair or replace it — no questions asked.
What’s your return policy?
We offer 45-day risk-free returns. Try it on your next adventure, and if you don’t love it, send it back for a full refund.

- Rated 5 out of 5 stars15 hours agoWhat took me so long to buy these chairs.
We bought two Ozzi Gear chairs after much deliberation by me over the price and the quality especially as I’d been scammed on FB on previous occasions plus they were I thought at the time expensive. However both my and me are amazed at the quality and the thought that has gone into the design and build quality. They take up less than half the space of the previous chairs we had in our campervan. We are also able to carry these in our backpacks for the day comfortably. I’m also a biker and they fit on my bike no problem. We were so impressed with the chairs we’ve ordered the Ozzi Gear table.

It's everything as advertised; compact, strong, comfy, easy to set up. I can't add more!
SCStephen C.Verified BuyerReviewingOzzi Outdoor Chair — Compact Folding, Aviation Aluminium, 150kg Rated - Rated 5 out of 5 stars2 days agoVery compact folding chair
I ordered 3 chairs and they all went up quite easily. Beforehand I got reminders to watch a video of how to initially set up the chairs and it was quite simple. I really like how easy it is to put the chairs up and take them down. Not ultra lightweight but definitely easy to carry round with the shoulder strap. I bought them for an event next year so haven’t yet used them properly yet but very happy with my purchase.

QUESTIONS?
We've got answers.
Why is the Ozzi chair more expensive than other camping chairs?
Because it’s built to solve the problems cheap chairs don’t.
Budget chairs are bulky, uncomfortable, and usually break after a season. Ozzi chairs are compact, supportive, and built to last, so you buy once instead of replacing them every year.
I get back pain in most chairs - will this actually help?
Yes. This is one of the biggest reasons people switch to Ozzi.
The hammock-style design supports your full back and hips, reducing pressure points that cause lower-back and neck pain. Many customers with bad backs say it’s the first compact chair they can sit in for hours comfortably.
Will it actually be comfortable for long sits?
Absolutely. Traditional upright chairs force your spine into an unnatural position.
Ozzi chairs cradle your body evenly, letting you relax without constantly shifting, slouching, or standing up to relieve discomfort.
How small does it pack down?
It folds down to just 30cm — about the size of a large water bottle.
Perfect for carry-on luggage, car boots, vans, backpacks, festivals, and beach trips.
Is it stable, or will it feel flimsy?
It’s extremely stable. We redesigned the chair 16 times to perfect the seating angle and centre of gravity.
No wobbling, no tipping — even when leaning forward or getting in and out.
